A brand new store just opened up in the Scott Township area! The store is a part of the Giant Eagle franchise. This store is right along Greentree Road in one of the complexes. This is one of the many stores in the area now, there are Starbucks and a Red Tea House right next door! This store is very conveniently located, as it is on a very busy street. You can just stop on in on your way to pretty much anywhere! Competition with Nearby Stores With the local Kuhn's and Walmart there has been a bit of competition with the franchises. According to the local Kuhn's owner,"It's getting pretty hard to keep up with Giant Eagle, their prices are so cheap." The new Giant Eagle is not great for the existing local businesses, but with it's convenience and good prices, it's pretty hard to complain about.
